Dog owners want to do the right thing but are often left wondering whether they allowed with their dogs when travelling around New Zealand. I developed a solution that provides quick & easy to comprehend information for dog owners that gives them peace of mind. Emergency healthcare is a universal human right
International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM) is a global organisation with the aim to ensure high quality emergency medical care for all people. IFEM works to achieve this through educating, advocating and supporting growth of the emergency medicine specialty in every country. IFEM wanted a website that would act as a living document of expertise, provide easy access to resources and facilitate networking between emergency medical workers from around the world. The new website would foster collaboration between health professionals on a global scale.

Yfoundations leads the effort to eliminate youth homelessness. It serves as the peak body in New South Wales, advocating for young individuals facing or experiencing homelessness and the corresponding support services. They aim to eliminate youth homelessness through collaborative advocacy with service providers, NGOs, government departments, and communities. Their initiatives include sector development, policy advice, health projects, research, and tailored services for children and young people. I played a role in transitioning their previous website to the Nationbuilders CMS system and revamped both their members' forum and directory.

As a small business seeking greater awareness for its exceptional services and products, the challenge was to rebrand and enhance the online shopping experience. Through a rebrand and website redesign, the business now offers customers the opportunity to easily shop for effective, safe, and affordable natural health products. Additionally, customers can request free naturopathic advice and access informative articles on natural health and well-being.

Optimised telematics apps for streamlined fleet management
Inseego offers a wide range of products including 5G and IoT devices, software, and services. Some of their most popular products include 5G mobile hotspots, 5G fixed wireless access points, and IoT devices such as asset trackers, AI-powered dashcams and telematics devices. I have been working with Inseego to gain insight into the challenges faced by fleet managers. The goal was to enhance the user experience and interface of the Inseego's driver and in-vehicle app, which enables fleet managers to monitor and control their fleet of vehicles and drivers. With a fleet management tool, managers can improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity.

The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Care Action Network (CAN) New Zealand is a non-profit organization that provides support, education, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by FASD in New Zealand. It aims to raise awareness about the dangers of alcohol consumption during pregnancy and the lifelong impacts it can have on children. The new website is a valuable resource for healthcare providers, educators, and policymakers, as it provides them with the information and resources they need to better understand and support individuals affected by FASD. With its commitment to providing ongoing support and updating the website based on user feedback, FASD CAN New Zealand is helping to create a better future for those affected by FASD.

Te Reo Māori tells the unique stories of Aotearoa, but for most of the 20th century, our native language has been actively discouraged by the government and New Zealand society at large. Languages tell the stories of humanity. They help us feel connected to each other and to understand our past, present and future. Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori Language Commission engaged For Purpose to support a public storytelling campaign that empowers users to collect the stories of their own communities so these kōrero can live on forever. The design process involved Māori language experts, designers, developers and community organisers collaborating to create a safe online space where Māori and non-Māori can contribute their experiences to the history of te reo.

Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori promotes te reo Māori as a living language. A significant event in its revitalization occurred in 1972 when a petition urged Parliament to teach it in schools. The commission aimed for 1 million people (⅕ of New Zealand’s population) to speak te reo Māori simultaneously on September 14, 2020, with For Purpose overseeing campaign promotion and development. I joined For Purpose to support improving the Reo Māori website and help Te Taura Whiri achieve their objectives.
We launched a media-rich website for Te Wā Tuku Reo Māori, urging participation in the Māori Language Moment through text, video, and image submissions. The site's intuitive user-flow and design showcased a surge in support, featuring a wall of stories sharing participants' motivations.

Te Hou Ora Whānau Services (THO) is a Kaupapa Māori service provider dedicated to fostering resilience, improving early learning for tamariki, nurturing parenting skills, educating rangatahi, and minimizing offending to attain positive outcomes for whānau. 
As a kaupapa Māori service provider they seek to empower rangatahi and whānau to reverse cycles of hardship and create positive opportunities for themselves within the context of their cultural heritage and through a Māori lens.

Every individual deserves the right to a suitable home. In Aotearoa New Zealand, housing stands out as one of the most pressing challenges facing the country. A significant portion of the population is grappling with issues related to housing rights, including overcrowding, unaffordability, substandard and unsafe living conditions, and a shortage of available housing. Recognizing this, the Human Rights Commission of New Zealand, Te Kāhui Tika Tangata (HRC), initiated an inquiry. The purpose is to comprehend people's housing experiences, develop solutions for the housing system, and advocate for the fundamental human right to a decent home.

I'm a multidisciplinary designer with over 15 years of experience working with clients from various industries, including Vodafone Germany, Airbus, Frankfurt International Airport, Trustpower, Inseego Corp, and The Māori Language Commission.
